Nick Parker, Aegg’s Marketing Director, interviewed Pawel Wieczorek, Aegg’s Commercial Director and glass expert, for his thoughts on packaging supplies and the changing nature of the demand for glass food and drink packaging.

As Aegg’s PR consultant, I was invited to attend Aegg’s company briefing at its HQ in Andover, where members from the senior management team updated staff on how the company is doing in relation to its glass and plastic packaging supplies to the food and drink markets.

We will be showcasing our extended glass food packaging ranges as well as our first UK warehouse facilities (which are due to open later this year) at our E8 Packaging Innovations stand at London Olympia on 11-12 September 2019. 

Aegg has created a new bespoke glass pot for Pots & Co’s new 65g lighter pudding range. The range, which launched in April 2019 is packaged in bespoke fully recyclable clear glass pots with the Pots & Co logo embedded within the base, which accentuates the premium nature of these handmade puddings.

Pawel Wieczorek, Aegg’s Head of Glass, was one of the 15,000 buyers and visitors from 120 countries attending the two-day PLMA show in Amsterdam in May 2019.

Aegg has welcomed Pawel Wieczorek to its team as Head of Glass. This senior position within the team has been newly created to meet expanding demand for our range of glass food and drink packaging and table presentable glass pots.

We asked Aegg’s new Head of Glass, Pawel Wieczorek, to write his thoughts on the major shift in glass take-up since the plasics debate...

We have launched a new range of over 20 glass packaging jars and bottles due to a big upsurge in demand for glass products. The new glass packaging products are ideally suited to jams, spreads, sauces and drinks. Products range from 210ml to 1700ml.
