Packaging Innovations NEC 2020: Aegg To Showcase Extended Glass Packaging Ranges and New Packaging Logistics Service

Celebrating its 10th year of business, Aegg, will be exhibiting at stand C27 of Easyfairs’ Packaging Innovations at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on 26-27 February 2020 (you can register to attend for here).

Aegg will be showcasing additional glass bottles and glass jar designs within its extended recyclable packaging supplies ranges as well as announcing details of its new glass packaging logistics and warehousing services.

The new off-the-shelf glass jars and bottles, which come in a range of new sizes and designs, sit alongside Aegg’s existing recyclable glass and rigid plastic pots and bowls, offering a wide choice of food packaging supply options to global food markets and visitors to the exhibition, whether it is for water, soft drinks, tonics, fizzy drinks, soups, sauces, vinegars & oils, preserves, spreads, fruit & vegetables, desserts or starters. In addition to the off-the-shelf ranges, Aegg continues to provide a bespoke service for companies wanting a more tailored design. A large range of the products will be displayed at Aegg’s stand, including the new additions to the ranges.

logistics fleet -1

Aegg has invested £millions into its packaging logistics infrastructure to support the growing demand of its glass food and drink packaging ranges, resulting in the company’s turnover almost doubling since this time last year. Following the recent creation of its own warehouse facility in Suffolk, Aegg made further investments, now enabling it to run its own transport fleet of 9 curtain siders, 15 skeletal trailers and 8 tractor units, transporting Aegg packaging from Felixstowe and Grangemouth docks, to Aegg’s warehouses and Aegg’s customers around the UK.

Aegg’s managing director, Jamie Gorman, said “Despite the industry challenges of securing glass packaging supplies within the UK over the last year or so, we have been able to secure additional ranges of glass jars, bottles and pots by working hard with our suppliers to obtain larger volumes as well as new designs and sizes to meet growing demand. As a natural extension to providing the glass products themselves, we are now also able to provide a wider in-house service to our clients, handling the storage and delivery of the products to their preferred UK address, giving our customers more control over the whole order to delivery service.”

Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a time to meet the team at the show, or if you would like more information on our packaging supplies or logistics service.
