As of 31 March 2026, new waste recycling rules came into force as part of the government’s Simpler Recycling reforms - a nationwide effort to standardise what we recycle, how we recycle it, and who is responsible for managing waste.By standardising the system, the aims are to reduce confusion and increase recycling rates.
