Customer Services and Logistics Administrator

We are looking for a Customer Services and Logistics Administrator to join our team in Eye, Suffolk.

The role will be responsible for managing customer interactions with the administrative tasks related to order processing, shipment tracking and overall logistics coordination, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Answering customer enquiries regarding orders, deliveries and product information via phone, email, etc.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently on Aegg systems.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues promptly with the Quality Managers input.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Product Sample management – sending out sample requests to new and existing customers, maintaining a record of samples sent and communicating to the Customer and account managers on sample status.
  • To handle our smaller glass Customer requirements (single pallet customers)


Logistics Administration:

  • Tracking orders throughout the shipping process, updating customers on delivery status.
  • Booking in of incoming deliveries i.e. plastics (lids and pots)
  • Coordinating with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Generating shipping labels, invoices and other necessary documentation.
  • Managing inventory levels and stock updates.
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and addressing any logistical issues.
  • Working with the Customer Service and Logistics Manager and the Demand Planning Manager on all role-associated tasks within the team.

Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintaining accurate customer data on CRM systems.
  • Generating reports on sales performance, delivery metrics and customer feedback.
  • Filing and organising customer records and shipping documents.to include Customer load declarations for dispatched loads with all relevant Pallet details
  • Supporting with other administrative tasks as needed.

Other job requirements:

  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment, and be aware of and follow company procedures contained in the Employee Handbook.
  • Aegg is a small Company, and all employees may need to support general office functions at certain times when few individuals are on site. e.g. answering the phone, welcoming visitors etc.
